Following the heavy monsoon raining of August 2017, The number of dengue cases has surged significantly in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. So far, 2492 individuals have been diagnosed with dengue fever. The number of deaths related to dengue fever is currently at 25. With the last phase of the monsoon season still continuing, the number of diagnoses is expected to increase both in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the neighboring provinces.
