Tropical Cyclone,Dominican Republic: According to the United States' National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)'s National Hurricane Centre (NHC), Hurricane Irma's centre was located near latitude 18.8 north, longitude 39.1 west at 5 PM Atlantic Standard Time (AST) (2100 Coordinated Universal Time [UTC]). Irma is moving toward the west at around 13 mph (20 km/h). A turn toward the west-south-west is expected by tomorrow, 2 September 2017.
