An increasing number of dengue positive cases (serotype unknown) has been reported in Nauru. From 25 October to 5 December 2018, 114 samples were tested in the laboratory using NS1Ag Combo and 42 were positives. (Pacific Community, 10 Dec 2018) On 7 December 2018, the **Palau** Ministry of Health declared dengue outbreak following the first ever laboratory confirmation of two cases with dengue serotype-3. (WHO, 9 Dec 2018) Additional outbreaks have since been declared in New Caledonia, Vanuatu, American Samoa and the Cook Islands.
