| Comments: | Cambodia had 2 floods were Mekong and Flash floods. First, Flash flood occurred 3 months from July to August and October one more, second Mekong flood occurred from 13 to 15 August 2001. 2 floods affected 595 communes, 84 districts, and 14 provinces-municipalities. In all, more than 945,688 people have been evacuated. Total physical damage both flash and Mekong floods were estimated at US$ 20 million. |
