Comments:
The river overflowed and flooded Mariental town, displacing 2100 people, 30 irrigations schemes, damaging water and sanitation supply. The whole population of 14000 people is currently trapped in the town as all national roads to the town have become impassable. Two people including a child have drowned and one person is missing
