No reports of fatalities or serious injuries have been reported. The towns of Ingham, Tully and Cardwell sustained significant damage to housing and infrastructure. Innisfail have also been affected although to a lesser extent. Other stateshave also been affected as reported below. The cyclone has been weakening since making landfall and was downgraded to a category 1 system at 4pm on 3 February. Damaging winds and possible flash flooding in and around Mt Isa are expected as the cyclone moves inland.
