Comments:
As of 30 June 2022, a total of 17 cases of Cholera have been reported within Kathmandu valley with null mortality case, till date. The cases are confirmed by utilizing stool culture method, Rapid Diagnostic test and hanging drop test. The detected causative agent is Vibrio cholerae O1 Ogawa Serotype. Five patients are being treated in Sukraraj Tropical and infectious diseases hospital, Teku Kathmandu.
