From January 1st to March 4th, 2018, a total of 1,121 suspected LASSA FEVER cases were recorded, 353 were confirmed positive, 8 probable, 723 negative and 37 await laboratory results. Thus far there have been 110 reported deaths and a fatality rate of 23.8%, 18 States have active cases (Edo, Ondo, Bauchi, Nasarawa, Ebonyi, Anambra, Benue, Kogi, Imo, Plateau, Lagos, Taraba, Delta, Osun, Rivers, FCT, Gombe and Ekiti).
