Media reported evacuation orders were issued for around 256,000 residents in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, after heavy rainfall from 15 July 2022. FDMA reported 1 person missing after the Natori Rive broke its banks in Sendai, and 1 person was injured in Osaki. Around 46 houses were damaged, mostly in Osaki. FDMA also reported landslides left around 50 people isolated in Kuma District, Kumamoto Prefecture.
