Comments: Tropical Cyclone 'Prema' hit Vanuatu on 30 March 1993 with sustained winds up to 90 knots. Cyclone has affected large parts of Vanuatu, with Epi, the Shepherd islands and Efate most directly hit. Initial reports indicate 2 deaths, 4 injured, and 115 houses in Port Vila severely damaged. The Port Vila wharf and airport terminal reported to be damaged.
