In China, severe weather including heavy rain, strong winds, and hail has caused floods and landslides, especially in the south-eastern parts of the country. Heavy rain and strong winds may affect the south-eastern areas of the country after 8 July. The cyclone entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) in the afternoon of 5 July.
