The January Storm of 2005, known as "Erwin," was a violent storm that struck Northwestern Europe on January 8, 2005. This storm, which particularly affected Denmark and Sweden, reached wind speeds of 35 m/s, with gusts measuring up to 46 m/s as recorded in Hanstholm.
