Comments: Tropical cyclone Yemyin has resulted in torrential rain in areas of the southern Pakistan province of Baluchistan, particularly near the coast. A total of 15 out of 29 districts across Baluchistan have been affected while five districts in Sindh have been affected. Infrastructure has been severely undermined with roads and bridges damaged or destroyed and telecommunications out in many areas since 26 June.

Tropical Cyclone,Pakistan: Cyclone Yemyin which struck coastal areas of Pakistan's Sindh and Balochistan provinces over the past few days has killed over a dozen people and inflicted extensive damage to houses and roads along the coast, leaving structures flattened. Sixteen people were reported to have been killed in Balochistan, while 32 fishermen who left the Karachi coast on 26 June were feared to have drowned. The cyclone caused winds of up to 130km an hour.
