Comments:
At least 12 people were killed, more than 370 were injured and thousands buildings were collapsed by a strong earthquake shook east China's Jiangxi province on Saturday morning. A quake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale struck the region shortly before 9 a.m. (01:00 GMT), according to the Hong Kong Observatory. The US Geological Survey put the tremor at 5.5 on the Richter scale.
