| Comments: | Honduras is experiencing an outbreak of dengue fever. On June 14, 2019, the Ministry of Health declared a sanitary emergency for dengue in 12 departments (Atlántida, Colón, Comayagua, Copán, Cortés, Francisco Morazán, Intibucá, La Paz, Lempira, Olancho, Santa Bárbara and Yoyo) for the number of cases and deaths. So far in 2019, the health authorities report 10,390 patients, 34 deaths verified by a laboratory test, of which 23 are children. |
