Comments: Since 12 July, wildfires have been affecting south-western France, in particular Gironde department (Nouvelle-Aquitaine region), burning an area of more than 12,900 hectares of vegetation, as reported by the Operational Centre for Inter-ministerial Crisis Management (COGIC). On 17 July, 2,100 people were evacuated in Cabanac Town, due to the Teste de Buch wildfire, which remains active and uncontrollable.
