The preliminary location for the event is 10.83N 61.41W with a focal depth of 40km. The Earthquake felt through out Trinidad and Tobago including Port of Spain, Chaguanas, St. Augustine, Princes Town, Point Fortin and Westmoorings, Marabella and Tobago.
An after shock measuring 5.3 occurred at 2.23pm local time.
