| Comments: | Since June 13, 2025, a significant escalation in hostilities has occurred between Israel and Iran, leading to widespread humanitarian concerns. A series of airstrikes have impacted critical infrastructure and densely populated areas, including parts of Tehran and other urban centers. Reports indicate considerable casualties, including among civilians, and disruption to essential services such as healthcare, electricity, and water supply. Emergency response systems are under pressure due to the growing number of injured individuals and the displacement of residents seeking safety in less affected areas. As of June 18, 2025, the situation remains volatile, with humanitarian needs continuing to increase. |
