| Comments: | In the high Andean regions of central and southern Peru, the winter season started in June with an abrupt change of temperature which has fallen up to -25?C. The Peruvian government has declared a state of emergency for a period of 60 days in 13 departments in the country. The National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology (SENAMHI) has announced that the cold front will continue until September. |
