Local media reported more than 1.89 million residents were relocated across the province in advance of the storm. As of 24 September 22 incidents of flooding and 1 landslide were reported in Hong Kong. Flooding also occurred in Macao. Chinese authorities earmarked central natural disaster-relief funds to support rescue and relief work in areas impacted by Typhoon Ragasa in the provinces of Guangdong, Hainan and Fujian.
