On 7 September 2010, the Government of the Gambia declared a State of National Disaster due to the magnitude and complexity of the floods.

According to the district department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the area of ​​the fire already exceeds 90 hectares. Flood,Pakistan: GDACS - Medium humanitarian impact in for Pakistan.Heavy monsoon rainfall in mid-August 2025 caused severe flooding in areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. Five people died after a helicopter carrying relief supplies to affected areas of Bajaur crashed due to bad weather. Lightning strikes also caused fatalities and damage during this period. The provincial disaster agency also reported flooding as a result of melting snow.
