First, Mekong flood occurred 4 months from July to 25th September 2000, second Flash flood occurred from 11 to 15 October. 2 floods affected 5,158 villages, 883 communes, 131 districts, and 21 provinces-municipalities. In all, more than 387,000 families have been evacuated. Total physical damage both Mekong and Flash floods were estimated at US$ 150 million. |

Epidemic,Bangladesh: Bangladesh is experiencing a nationwide dengue outbreak affecting all eight divisions, with Dhaka the hardest hit. As of 14 September 2026, 51,837 cumulative confirmed cases and 149 deaths were reported, according to Ministry of Health data recorded in the field report. Transmission increased sharply from late August amid monsoon conditions, with August recording 20,536 hospital admissions, compared with 9,206 in July. The surge is placing increasing pressure on health facilities, compounded by concurrent measles admissions.

Other,Yemen: Since 3 September 2026, escalating hostilities in Taiz and along Yemen's western coast have resulted in civilian casualties, displacement and increased humanitarian needs. Preliminary operational information indicates approximately 4,362 households (26,075 people) displaced across Taiz, Al Hodeidah and Aden, subject to verification and deduplication. As of 5 September, health authorities and WHO reported 1,078 casualties, including 194 deaths and 884 injuries. Priority needs include shelter, essential household items, food, WASH, health, protection and cash assistance.
