Comments: Since 4 January, severe winter weather conditions including heavy snowfall, strong winds, and low temperatures have affected several areas of Serbia, resulting in significant humanitarian impact and disruptions to essential services. The municipalities of Loznica, Valjevo, Osečina, Ivanjica, Vladimirci, Krupanj, Mali Zvornik, and Majdanpek have been among the most affected. Heavy snow accumulation caused restricted access to communities, disrupted transportation, and led to widespread power outages due to damage to electricity distribution networks. Prolonged electricity cuts particularly affected urban, rural and hard-to-reach areas, negatively impacting heating, water supply, and access to basic services. Concurrently, flooding occurred in Kosovo and Metohija following the overflow of the Ibar and Sitnica rivers. The municipalities of Kosovska Mitrovica, Zvečan, Kosovo Polje, and Gračanica were affected by localized flooding of residential areas, agricultural land, and critical infrastructure, posing risks to the livelihoods, health, and safety of the population
