ADINet reported heavy rain from Tropical Cyclone Nalgae (known as Paeng in the Philippines) caused 310 incidents of flooding and 42 landslides in Regions II, III, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, XII, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, CARAGA, and BARMM. A total of 139,066 families or 374,979 persons were affected. 179 houses were damaged and 142 destroyed. 169,187 people were displaced in Regions CALABARZON, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, XII, and CARAGA. Many of the fatalities were a result of flooding and landslides in southern areas, in particular Maguindanao del Norte province in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Mindanao (BARMM) where fatalities were reported in Datu Blah Sinsuat, Upi and Datu Odin Sinsuat.
